Oral Health America recently spoke with Larry Clark, Director of Clinical Affairs and Marketing for Pulpdent Corporation, about the company’s committment to Smiles Across America® and why the company supports public health programs nationwide.
Pulpdent has been a strong supporter of OHA’s Smiles Across America® Product Donation Program for many years, thank you! Can you please describe to me why Pulpdent feels it is important to support programs and organizations like SAA and OHA?
Pulpdent supports OHA’s Smiles Across America because we believe it is our civic responsibility to contribute a large measure of good to society. Children are our future, and it is important for them to have access to sealants and preventative dental care. It helps them lead healthier, more productive lives, and we feel that underprivileged and underserved children should not be left behind. Dental caries is the most prevalent chronic disease in America. We can fix that, and we should, for the benefit of all.
Pulpdent has made a commitment to public health programs across the nation, can you please tell me why you feel this is an important initiative for your organization and business?
Pulpdent is a prime manufacturer, not a re-labeler, so we are in a very good position to support public health initiatives. These programs also place our products in the hands of dentists and hygienists, who then use them in their private practices. For example, our Embrace WetBond Pit & Fissure Sealant has been shown to produce unparalleled results and is a favorite among public health professionals. This helps us spread the word about better technologies for oral health care.
Thank you, Pulpdent, for your generous donations to the Smiles Across America Product Donation Program and for your years of support!
