Program Spotlight – Ronald McDonald House of Bismarck Celebrates 25th Birthday

In its first 25 years, the Bismarck Ronald McDonald House has provided a “home away from home” and comfort and care for more than 4,600 families of hospitalized children. The House provides a way for “keeping families together” when they need each other the most. Ronald McDonald House of Bismarck provides services to over 1,000 children each year that would otherwise have no other access to care.

The celebration also marked the 5th year anniversary of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program. This Care Mobile provides oral health care to under-served children aged birth-22 years old in their own neighborhoods in western North Dakota. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile has now treated 5,180 children in their first 5-½ years, for a value of $2.74 Million.

“We are so grateful to Oral Health America’s Smiles Across America® program for the generous support we’ve received for our Care Mobile and School Based Sealant Program!”

The Ronald McDonald House of Bismarck, ND celebrated its 25th birthday with an ice cream social honoring our families, volunteers, staff and community supporters.
